Arms in the Shadows: The Juba Conspiracy of Ambassador Yatim

In the volatile political climate of South Sudan, a covert and complex conspiracy is being hatched in Juba. The mastermind behind this operation is Ambassador Kamel Yatim, a Lebanese financier renowned for his vast international ties. His objective is ambitious: to overthrow President Salva Kiir Mayardit’s administration.

Yatim, known for his expertise in the underground arms trade, is a key figure in acquiring and distributing the arms essential for the coup. His skill in covert negotiations and stealthy operations makes him an influential figure in this complex geopolitical landscape.

Yatim effectively wields his influence over the president to steer the decisions of the generals in South Sudan. He fortifies this influence through a strategic alliance with the president’s second wife, Ambassador Monica. Enhancing this connection, Yatim recently purchased a lavish $10 million house in Dubai for Ambassador Monica, further solidifying their bond and his indirect control over pivotal political moves.

Central to Yatim’s plans is Angelo, often referred to as the “henchman.” Angelo is critical to the operation, shuttling between South Sudan and Lebanon, typically in the company of Ambassador Yatim on private flights. These journeys, far from being diplomatic, are in fact covert operations focused on arms smuggling, gathering support, and setting the stage for the revolution.

Fahid Sufan is introduced as a key member of the team, enhancing their strategic capabilities. Possessing a British passport and a background in cooperating with U.S. intelligence in Afghanistan, Sufan is adept in espionage and the procurement of arms. As the principal aide to Yatim, he contributes extensive knowledge and a broad network of international contacts. His expertise is particularly valuable in acquiring advanced weaponry and in skillfully maneuvering through the complex geopolitical landscape, essential for the success of their scheme. With Sufan’s inclusion, the team’s operational reach and effectiveness are significantly amplified, enabling them to execute their covert operations more effectively across Juba’s political spheres.

In the treacherous and uncertain world of Juba’s political underbelly, Yatim and Angelo’s complex plot deepens. Trust is scarce, betrayal looms large, and allies can quickly become adversaries. Their strategy relies on precise execution, absolute secrecy, and a keen grasp of the volatile political scene. They’re engaged in a high-stakes game, with the fate of a nation at risk.

As time ticks on, the question looms: Will their bold quest for power in South Sudan succeed, or will unforeseen obstacles derail their efforts at the eleventh hour? In this realm of deception and ambition, the outcome of their audacious coup hangs in the balance.
