IRAN’s New President-elect Raisi dismissed negotiations over ballistic missile programme

Mr Raisi a Hard lined Shia Muslim cleric who elected as President on Friday’s election ruled out any possibility of negotiations over Iran’s ballistic missile programme. He said there will be no compromise over Iran’s regional policies, including its support of armed groups in several countries.

Iran also provides political and military support to militant movements like Hezbollah, Hamas, and Islamic Jihad to advance its interests.

Mr Raisi mentioned that his foreign policy approach would not be limited by the nuclear deal negotiated by Iran’s former president Hassan Rouhani, which saw Iran agree to limit its nuclear programme in return for sanctions relief.

Iranian president also urged the US to immediately return to deal and lift all the sanctions that have doomed the Iranian economy. He replied with “No.” When he had been asked whether he would meet US President Joe Biden for it.

On the Vienna talks, he iterated “We will not allow negotiations to be for negotiations’ sake. Negotiations should not be dragged out but each sitting should bear results. A result-oriented [negotiation] is important to us and it should have an outcome for the Iranian nation.”

Iran’s chief nuclear negotiator Abbas Araqchi said on sunday that representatives in Vienna were “closer than ever to an agreement”, but that bridging the remaining gap was “not an easy job”.

On the other Israel’s newly ellect Prime minister Naftali Bannete warned global powers to open your eyes before going back into deal with Iran.

Both the Prime ministers of Israel and Iran are arthodox in nature and Mr Raisi has been backed up by Iran’s Supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Under Netanyahu’s regime world had witnessed both regional actors on verge of war.
