The 9th Multinational Exercise AMAN 2025, hosted by the Pakistan Navy, concluded in the North Arabian Sea with a grand International Fleet Review (IFR), followed by the impressive formation of the AMAN Naval Formation by Pakistan Navy and foreign warships. The prestigious event was graced by Chief of the Army Staff, General Asim Munir, as the Chief Guest, symbolizing Pakistan’s commitment to peace and cooperative security under the exercise motto “Together for Peace.”
Upon arrival aboard Pakistan Navy Ship (PNS) MOAWIN, the Chief Guest was warmly received by the Chief of the Naval Staff, Admiral Naveed Ashraf. The event was attended by the Governor of Sindh, the Chief Minister of Sindh, the Federal Minister of Maritime Affairs, ambassadors, high commissioners, foreign naval chiefs, senior military officers, and defense attaches from the participating countries.
During the IFR, the Chief Guest observed various operational maneuvers and drills performed by the multinational fleet. The event also featured a remarkable Fly Past conducted by aircraft from the Pakistan Navy, Pakistan Air Force, and other participating nations. This was followed by the Man and Cheer Ship tradition performed by the warships. The exercise culminated with the AMAN Naval Formation, symbolizing unity and collective resolve for maritime peace and security.
Highlighting the importance of the exercise, the Chief Guest congratulated the Pakistan Navy for successfully hosting AMAN 2025 and reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to global maritime peace and security. He expressed gratitude to the regional and extra-regional navies for their participation, showcasing their dedication to collaborative maritime security efforts.
General Asim Munir emphasized that AMAN 2025 has evolved into a vital platform connecting diverse regions, promoting shared efforts for secure seas, and ensuring a prosperous future for all.
