Submission Guidelines

Global Defense Insight seeks original ideas and analyses on topics of International Relations and Security Studies. As an organization, we desire to contribute to adding value to the existing research. Hence, pieces that challenge the status quo with unconventional views are highly appreciated.

The following points should be considered for the submission of an analytical article:

  • Opinions presented in the paper should be backed by facts.
  • The article’s length should lie between 800 and 1500 words.
  • Plagiarized content will not be accepted.

Please direct submissions to Submissions@defensetalks.com

After submission, please give the staff one week (not counting Saturday or Sunday) from the time of submission in which to evaluate your article. The editor will contact authors directly only if the organization intends to publish the submitted piece.

Due to the high volume of submissions, and in keeping with our editorial practice of reading all submissions (that meet our criteria), we can only acknowledge articles we are interested in publishing. If you do not receive such confirmation after the requisite period, you are free to take your article for placement in another publication.

Due to possible copyright and legal restrictions, all articles submitted must be exclusive to Global Defense Insight.
