The lead ship of milgem-class guided missile corvettes, PNS Babur launched today in a ceremony at Istanbul.
President of Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Dr. Arif Alvi, Turkish President Recep Tayyip and Pakistan Naval chief attended the ceremony.

PNS Babur is the lead ship of Milgem-class corvettes. These corvettes will be armed with state of the art weapon systems and sensors.
According to agreement signed between both nations, two ships will be constructed in Turkey while remaining two in Karachi.
