[Islamabad, 26 June 2023] American defense manufacturer, General Dynamics Land Systems on 26 June announced that it got an order from US Army to deliver 300 Stryker DVHA1 (Double-V Hull) vehicles. This latest procurement order is part of a five-year agreement that was signed in 2020.
“The Stryker A1 features a 450-horsepower engine, 60,000-pound suspension, 910-amp alternator, and in-vehicle digital network while continuing to provide unprecedented soldier survivability,” said Gordon Stein, vice president of U.S. operations at General Dynamics Land Systems.
The official press release by General Dynamics Land Systems (GDLS) mentioned, “The Army is pursuing enhanced survivability and capability in its Stryker brigades with the technologically advanced DVHA1s.”
