Pakistan asked Afghan Taliban to act against Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).

Pakistan’s Foreign Office Spokesperson Zahid Hafiz Choudhary told in its weekly press briefing that Pakistan is going to raise the issue of the use of Afghan Soil by TTP to act in terror against Pakistan, with the incoming government in our western neighborhood.

‘We also highlighted the issue with the previous government and will be highlighting with the incoming government in Afghanistan’, Choudary said.

In response to a question about the release of TTP prisoner mullah Faqir Muhammad, he replied, “we have seen media reports. We have opposed and ll be opposing the support of any such proscribed remained involved in terrorist activities in Pakistan”.

He responded diplomatically over a question recognition of the Taliban government, telling Pakistan forging all sides to reach an inclusive political settlement.

Mr. Choudhary has been newly appointed to the “Pakistan’s High commissioner to Australia”, has been replaced by Asim Iftikhar Ahmad.
