Kosovo has received the five Turkish-origin Bayraktar TB2 drones from the Turkish defense company, Baykar. These drones were also inspected by Prime Minister Albin Kurti along with his defense minister on Sunday. Bayraktar TB2 has gained popularity globally after its successful operations in different parts of the world including Libya and Ukraine.
Amid the ongoing dispute between Serbia and Kosovo, these drones will play an important part in the military operations of Kosovo. Kosovo becomes the 33rd nation that procured these lethal drones after Pakistan, Poland, Ukraine, Mali, and others.
