Boeing Defense has started the production of the Ah-64E Apache helicopters for Morocco. Morocco has signed an agreement with Boeing for the procurement of 24 AH-64E Apache Attack helicopters in June 2020. The first batch of the Apache helicopter will be delivered in 2024.
“By acquiring the Apache, Morocco will receive the world’s most advanced, proven attack helicopter that will enhance their defense forces for years to come,” said Christina Upah, vice president of Attack Helicopter Programs and senior Boeing Mesa site executive. “Boeing’s partnership with the Kingdom of Morocco spans decades, and I am proud the Apache is now part of this legacy.”
