Dubai Air Show 2023 concluded on November 17th at the Al Maktoum International Airport with multiple highlights. World’s leading defense & aerospace companies exhibited at the Dubai Air Show 2023 and showcased cutting-edge technologies to the global audience. The Rosoboronexport represented Russian defense and aerospace companies.
Rosoboronexport displayed the Su-57E stealth fighter, Ka-52 helicopter, and several other flying machines for military and civilian applications. The Su-57E fighter and Russian missiles were the highlights of the Dubai Air Show 2023 and gained extraordinary interest from the visiting audience.
Sukhoi Design Bureau test pilot Rafael Suleymanov on Su-57 piloting:
“Su-57 is the crown of creation of our aircraft manufacturers and the rest of the industry that provides this aircraft with its components.
Piloting and flying this aircraft is a pleasure; it allows the pilot to fly in any conditions, speed, or angle of attack.
The ability of the pilot, by his own decision, to reach some supercritical angles of attack, to perform a maneuver more energetically, to more energetically fix the axis of the weapon in the direction of the enemy when he does not expect it, of course, can lead to victory”.
Latest aircraft missiles for Su-57E at Dubai Airshow 2023:
Russia presents at the expo for the first time the latest air weapons for the fifth-generation fighters, including the RVV-MD2 and RVV-BD air-to-air guided missiles, the Kh-69 cruise missile.
All three missiles are developed by the Tactical Missile Corporation (TMC), Russia’s biggest producer of precision-guided air, sea, and coastal-based weapons.

The Kh-69 missile is designed to destroy a wide range of stationary ground targets with known coordinates. These can be communications facilities, railway stations and hubs, ground-based warehouses, command posts and communications hubs, naval targets at their bases, etc. The launch range is up to 290 km.
The RVV-MD2 air-to-air missile is a modification of the well-known RVV-MD model and is designed for close-in, highly maneuverable air combat. The launch range has increased by a quarter – up to 50 km. The dimensions allow the product to be used from the intra-fuselage suspensions.
The RVV-BD long-range guided missile is designed to destroy almost any air targets at any time of the day, from all angles, in conditions of electronic countermeasures, against the background of the earth and water surface, incl. with multi-channel fire according to the fire-and-forget principle. The launch range is up to 200 km.
Russia is ready to work with interested parties on Checkmate aircraft:
Russian media service, TASS, also reported that “Moscow is ready to discuss cooperation on the new Checkmate light tactical aircraft with interested parties”. The Su-75 was unveiled by the Sukhoi Aircraft Company (part of the United Aircraft Corporation) was unveiled at the MAKS 2021 international airshow, held in Russia. It made its first international appearance at the Dubai Air Show 2021. The initial pilot production is expected to begin in 2026. Now, several nations are interested in this light aircraft and few are also interested in the co-production of this aircraft.
