Turkish leading defense manufacturer, BMC, showcased several types of protected vehicles at the DIMDEX 2024. The major highlight of the BMC booth is the Kirpi II (4×4) Mine-Resistant Ambush-Protected Vehicle. Kirpi II provides mine protection as well as ballistic protection. It is also very effective against IED blasts.
BMC also showcased the Amazon (4×4) Multi-Purpose Armored Vehicle. BMC Amazon has been specifically manufactured and designed by BMC to fulfill the specifications and needs of the Turkish Land Forces. It is already in service with the Turkish Land Forces and has successfully exported to several states, including Qatar.
Lastly, an Altug (8×8) Infantry Fighting Vehicle (IFV) was also displayed at the BMC stand. The Altay 8×8 Infantry Fighting Vehicle (IFV) represents a cutting-edge addition to modern armored warfare, showcasing advanced technology and versatile capabilities. Developed by BMC, a leading Turkish defense company, the Altay IFV combines mobility, firepower, and enhanced protection to meet the evolving demands of contemporary battlefield scenarios.
