Ukrainian Air Force has officially inducted first batch of F-16 aircraft in its fleet, President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Oleksandrovych Zelenskyy himself released the video of the induction ceremony held at an undisclosed location in Ukraine on his official X handle.
“F-16s are in Ukraine. We did it. I am proud of our guys who are mastering these jets and have already started using them for our country,” President Zelenskyy said during his address Air Force personnel and his nation at the ceremony. He also specifically thanked US, Netherlands and Denmark for their contributions in this critical transfer of aircrafts. NATO allies with US approval have so far pledged more than 60 F-16 aircrafts for Ukraine. More batches are expected to be delivered in coming months as the training of more air and ground staff progresses in allied countries.
