The Pakistan Navy is set to host the 9th edition of the Multinational Maritime Exercise AMAN and the maiden AMAN Dialogue from 7–11 February 2025 in Karachi. The event will bring together over 60 countries, including ships, aircraft, special operations forces, EOD marine teams, and observers, under the slogan “Together for Peace.”
Exercise AMAN 2025 highlights the growing importance of maritime security in the Indian Ocean Region, a vital hub for global sea-borne trade and energy routes. The exercise, which began in 2007, aims to foster collaboration among maritime nations to address traditional and non-traditional maritime security threats.

- Harbour Phase (7–9 February):
Includes operational discussions, professional demonstrations, seminars, international gatherings, and sports events. - Sea Phase (10–11 February):
Focuses on tactical maneuvers, anti-piracy and counterterrorism operations, search and rescue drills, and live firing exercises. The phase will conclude with the International Fleet Review, witnessed by foreign and national dignitaries.
AMAN Dialogue:
For the first time, the AMAN Dialogue will take place alongside the exercise, providing a platform for Chiefs of Navies, Coast Guards, and Defence Forces to exchange insights on maritime challenges and solutions. This intellectual forum will merge discourse with practical maritime operations, furthering cooperation in the region.
