Pakistan Navy’s advanced offshore patrol vessel (OPV), PNS Yarmook, is actively participating in the Naval Defence Exhibition (NAVDEX) 2025, held alongside IDEX 2025 in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The vessel’s presence underscores Pakistan’s commitment to maritime security and international naval cooperation.

Designed for a wide range of missions, including maritime security, surveillance, and search-and-rescue operations, PNS Yarmook is a modern OPV equipped with state-of-the-art sensors, electronic warfare systems, and modular mission capabilities. The vessel plays a crucial role in ensuring regional stability and protecting Pakistan’s maritime interests.

At NAVDEX 2025, PNS Yarmook is engaging with regional and international naval forces, fostering defense collaborations and interoperability. Senior naval officials and defense industry representatives are visiting the ship, highlighting the Pakistan Navy’s operational capabilities and its focus on modernizing its fleet.

Pakistan’s participation in NAVDEX 2025 reflects its strong defense ties with the UAE and its active role in global maritime security initiatives. Before NAVDEX 2025, PNS Yarmook participated in the AMAN 2025 multinational maritime exercise, where around 60 countries participated, including China, USA, Russia, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, and many others.
