Russian Helicopters Holding, part of the State Corporation Rostec, is showcasing its latest fleet of helicopters at IDEX-2025, designed for a wide range of emergency and VIP services. Among the highlights is the latest version of the firefighting helicopter Ka-32A11M, along with two Ansat helicopters tailored for ambulance and police operations. The company is also displaying the VIP version of the Mi-38 helicopter.
The Ansat, a light multi-purpose helicopter, is serially produced by Kazan Helicopter Plant. Renowned for its effectiveness in patient rescue and evacuation, the Ansat features the most spacious cabin in its class, enabling medical personnel to operate efficiently and accommodate a full-fledged intensive care module. Its reliability, speed, and maneuverability make it highly suitable for operations in urban areas and on small, unprepared landing sites such as roads.
The Ka-32A11M is an advanced version of one of the world’s top firefighting helicopters, designed for extreme temperature conditions. This versatile machine excels in fire suppression, especially in densely populated urban areas, such as those found in the UAE. Its ease of piloting, maneuverability, and steady hovering make it a highly effective asset for firefighting operations.
The Mi-38 VIP version combines comfort, safety, and reliability for long-range flights. Equipped with two Russian-made TV7-117V engines with dust protection, it ensures safe operation in desert regions, including the Middle East. The helicopter can be adapted to serve as Air Force One, carry up to 14 VIP passengers with a flight attendant, or transport up to 5 tons of cargo. The passenger version, which offers seating for up to 30 individuals, leads its class in capacity.
