EDGE, a leading global advanced technology and defense group, and Naval Group, an international naval defense leader, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the International Defence Exhibition & Conference 2025 (IDEX 2025). The agreement aims to explore collaboration opportunities in naval combat systems to meet the evolving needs of modern naval forces worldwide.
Hamad Al Marar, Managing Director & CEO of EDGE, emphasized the significance of this collaboration, stating,

“Naval Group successfully delivered two GOWIND COMBAT CLASS ships to the UAE Navy in 2023 and 2024 and played a key role in the National Combat Management System, reinforcing UAE sovereignty. Now, together with EDGE, we aim to drive innovation and expand our presence in new markets.”
