AAD 2026 Opens Exhibition Space Following Successful Engagements at IDEX and NAVDEX

The Africa Aerospace and Defence (AAD) delegation has officially announced its state of readiness for AAD 2026 following its participation at the International Defence Exhibition and Conference (IDEX) and Naval Defence & Maritime Security Exhibition (NAVDEX) in the UAE.

As Africa’s premier defence and aerospace exhibition, AAD 2026 promises to deliver an expanded platform for industry leaders, innovators, and key stakeholders. Held from 17 to 21 February 2025, IDEX and NAVDEX served as crucial networking platforms where the AAD delegation engaged with global defence and aerospace companies, government representatives, and industry decision-makers.

A key highlight of the event was the signing of a sponsorship agreement with Milkor, confirming its return as a Diamond Sponsor for AAD 2026. The contract was finalized on-site by AAD Exhibition Director, Nakedi Phasha, and Milkor’s Communications Director, Daniel du Plessis.

Following these successful engagements, AAD has officially opened exhibition space bookings for AAD 2026, set to take place from 16 to 20 September 2026 at Air Force Base Waterkloof, Pretoria, South Africa. Companies looking to secure a strategic presence at the continent’s leading defence and aerospace event can benefit from early bird rates, available until 30 September 2025.

“The response at IDEX and NAVDEX 2025 was phenomenal. We are excited to officially launch exhibition registrations for AAD 2026, offering companies the opportunity to lock in prime exhibition space at competitive rates,” said Nakedi Phasha, AAD Exhibition Director.

Exhibitors can access the AAD exhibition E-Zone via the official website (www.aadexpo.co.za) to book and manage their participation seamlessly.
