HII announced that its Mission Technologies division has been awarded a $147 million contract to support shipboard and shore-based combat training services for the U.S. Navy. The five-year task order will cover training systems under the U.S. Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division, Dam Neck Activity (NSWCDD DNA).

Under the contract, HII will provide engineering services for hardware, software, subsystems, and other elements of the Navy’s training systems. The scope includes system installation, certification, testing, troubleshooting, repair, and lifecycle sustainment.
Enhancing Mission Readiness
“Providing full-cycle support for U.S. Navy, joint, coalition, and Department of Defense training systems requires a seamless, well-orchestrated approach and close collaboration with the Navy,” said Michael Lempke, president of Mission Technologies’ Global Security group.
This contract strengthens HII’s position as a key partner in enhancing the U.S. Navy’s combat readiness and warfare system superiority.
