HAVELSAN, Türkiye’s leading simulation and defense technology provider, is making a global impact through its cutting-edge HAVELSAN simulator training devices, which are now central to airline pilot training programs amid an increase in new aircraft deliveries for 2025.
In 2024, HAVELSAN delivered two Boeing B737MAX full flight simulators to Turkish Airlines. These simulators earned certification from the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and became an integral part of the national carrier’s pilot training ecosystem, alongside HAVELSAN’s earlier Boeing B737NG simulators.
April 2025 marks a significant milestone for HAVELSAN with the scheduled factory acceptance test of a Boeing B737NG Fixed Training Device (FTD) Level 2—the first of its kind manufactured in Türkiye. This milestone not only highlights the company’s engineering capabilities but also reinforces its commitment to producing advanced aviation solutions domestically.
HAVELSAN’s collaboration with Turkish Airlines extends beyond manufacturing. Since 2023, the company has operated Boeing simulator devices at a joint training facility in Ankara, providing essential hands-on pilot training in a real-world environment.
As airlines globally expand their fleets, HAVELSAN is scaling its efforts to supply high-quality simulator solutions. The increasing demand underscores the importance of HAVELSAN simulator training devices in preparing pilots with precision and realism, ensuring safe and effective flight operations.
