Iraq to Host 13th Iraq Defense Exhibition (IQDEX 2025) from April 19, 2025

Iraq is set to host the Iraq Defense Exhibition 2025 from April 19 to 22 at the Baghdad International Fairground, bringing together global defense leaders, industry innovators, and strategic stakeholders under one roof. The event is being organized under the patronage of the Prime Minister of Iraq and General Commander of the Armed Forces, with full backing from the Ministries of Defense, Interior, and Trade.

Major Global Participation

The Iraq Defense Exhibition 2025 will feature participation from leading defense companies from Pakistan, South Korea, the United States, France, China, Russia, Sweden, Belarus, and the host country Iraq. These companies will showcase cutting-edge advancements in land systems, naval platforms, aerospace, cybersecurity, and unmanned technologies. The event reflects Iraq’s growing interest in emerging technologies and its vision for a modern, self-reliant defense ecosystem.

Conferences on Emerging Threats

Running alongside the exhibition are two high-level conferences that address contemporary security challenges:

  • Anti-Drug Conference – April 21: Focused on counter-narcotics operations, international collaboration, and regional enforcement strategies.

  • Cybersecurity Conference – April 22: Highlighting cyber defense frameworks, critical infrastructure protection, and the fight against digital threats.
