Iran’s Ministry of Defense is prominently displaying its latest domestically developed military technologies at the 13th Iraq Defense Exhibition (IQDEX 2025) in Baghdad. The event, inaugurated by Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia’ Al Sudani, features participation from over 150 defense and security companies across 22 countries, including Iran, China, Russia, Pakistan, India, and Turkey.
Iran’s exhibition highlights a range of homegrown weaponry designed for ground, naval, and aerial combat operations, as well as air defense and electronic warfare systems. Notable among the showcased technologies are:

Arman Missile System: A long-range anti-ballistic missile system equipped with Sayyad-3F missiles, capable of detecting targets within 180 kilometers and engaging up to six targets simultaneously.

Sevom Khordad Air Defense System: A road-mobile medium-range air defense missile system that can detect up to 100 targets and engage four simultaneously, with a range of 50–105 kilometers and altitude coverage of 25–30 kilometers.

Shahed-136 UAV: A loitering munition drone known for its precision strike capabilities, enabling extended operational reach and tactical versatility.

Bashir Primary Surveillance Radar: A 3D S-band phased array radar system with a detection range of 350 kilometers, enhancing Iran’s airspace surveillance and early warning capabilities.
Iran’s participation in IQDEX 2025 underscores its commitment to advancing indigenous defense capabilities and fostering regional security cooperation.
