Arquus Highlights Strategic Franco-Hellenic Partnership at DEFEA 2025

French defense firm Arquus is showcasing its cutting-edge military vehicle technologies and long-term support solutions at DEFEA 2025, the premier defense exhibition underway in Athens from May 6. As a key supplier to the Hellenic Army, Arquus’ presence highlights the deepening Franco-Hellenic defense partnership and its commitment to strengthening Greece’s land capabilities.

Arquus has already delivered 230 VBL light armored vehicles to the Hellenic Army, and a modernization program for these platforms is now set to begin in collaboration with Greek military workshops. This initiative exemplifies Arquus’ Through-Life Support (TLS) approach, aiming to ensure operational readiness, longevity, and strategic autonomy for partner nations.

Showcasing the SHERPA with Hornet T1 and MBDA Akeron

At Hall 2, Stand E6, Arquus is presenting the SHERPA tactical vehicle in its Weapon Station variant, equipped with the Hornet T1 remote-controlled turret and MBDA’s Akeron MP missile. This configuration underscores Arquus’ capability as a systems integrator, offering highly adaptable solutions that meet the operational demands of diverse theaters.

With deployments across several operational environments globally, the SHERPA is known for its reliability, mobility, and mission versatility—qualities that have earned the trust of military forces worldwide.

Strengthening Greek Capability and Industrial Autonomy

Arquus’ involvement in Greece goes beyond platform delivery. By fostering industrial partnerships and offering training and technical transfer, the company supports Greece’s defense industrial base and national maintenance capacity. This strategy is aligned with Greece’s objective of achieving greater strategic autonomy through localized defense capabilities.
