Global Industrial & Defence Solutions (GIDS), Pakistan’s leading state-owned defense conglomerate, is set to exhibit its cutting-edge defense technologies at the International Defence Industry Fair (IDEF 2025), being held from July 22 to 27, 2025, in Istanbul, Türkiye. GIDS will be located in Hall 1, Stand No. 1-C03B.

- Shahpar Series – Medium Altitude Long Endurance (MALE) UAVs
The Shahpar series represents Pakistan’s advancements in unmanned aerial systems. These MALE-class UAVs offer Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities and can be armed for precision strike missions. Equipped with electro-optical payloads and real-time data links, they serve both tactical and strategic objectives. - BURQ Series – Precision-Guided Munitions
The BURQ family includes advanced guided munitions designed for high-precision ground strikes. These systems incorporate terminal guidance technologies and are capable of engaging static and moving targets with exceptional accuracy. - Taimur – Air-Launched Cruise Missile (ALCM)
Taimur is a new-generation, long-range air-launched cruise missile designed for strategic strike roles. Capable of precision engagement against high-value targets, it enhances the deep-strike capability of the Pakistan Air Force. - Harbah-NG – Anti-Ship & Land-Attack Cruise Missile
The Harbah-NG is a multi-role cruise missile optimized for naval platforms. Designed for both anti-ship and land-attack missions, it provides Pakistan’s maritime forces with a credible standoff capability in littoral and high-seas scenarios. - Fatah-1 & Fatah-2 – Guided Multiple Launch Rocket Systems (MLRS)
These next-generation MLRS platforms offer extended range and precision strike capabilities. Fatah-1 has a range of up to 140 km, while Fatah-2 extends this envelope significantly, allowing for deep battlefield engagement with high accuracy. - Advanced Surveillance, EW & C4I Systems
GIDS will also display its range of integrated electronic warfare solutions, tactical communication systems, multi-sensor surveillance platforms, and battlefield management tools—all designed to deliver situational awareness and operational superiority in high-threat environments.
Strategic Presence at IDEF
As a regular participant at IDEF, GIDS is leveraging the 2025 edition to strengthen existing international partnerships and explore new export opportunities. Its participation reflects Pakistan’s strategic focus on defense self-reliance and its growing role in the global defense marketplace.
