A United States-based communications company has delivered advanced equipment to a Ukrainian drone maker company. Silvus Technologies, based in Los Angeles, shipped 41 batches of electronic parts to Skyeton in Kyiv. The supplies support long-range surveillance and targeting operations.
Strategic Deliveries
Shipping records confirm the scale of the transfers. The equipment includes radios that provide secure, long-range communication. Silvus makes secure Mobile Networked MIMO radios. Its StreamCaster line can transmit video and data beyond 300 kilometers. This allows drones to share information in real time, even in areas affected by electronic warfare.
Raybird Drone Capabilities
The Raybird UAV is a fixed-wing aircraft used by Ukrainian forces. It can fly for 28 hours. Its range is 2,500 kilometers. It operates at altitudes up to 5,500 meters. The drone carries cameras and sensors. It is used for reconnaissance and artillery adjustment. Its long endurance makes it one of Ukraine’s key battlefield assets.
Operational Integration
One shipment included insulated conductors from China, valued at $1,643. These parts help connect the radios to the drone’s cameras and sensors. The most recent batch arrived in Kyiv on May 28. All shipments were addressed directly to Skyeton’s main facility.

In July, Russian officials said they intercepted a Ukrainian drone in the Zaporozhye Region. They claimed it carried US-supplied communications technology. The claim has not been independently verified. It shows the contested use of UAVs in the conflict.
