FSDC AeroSolutions, the region’s leading designer and manufacturer of flight-simulation technology, is set to present its AeroMix Multi-Crew Full-Motion Simulator for fixed-wing aircraft at the Dubai Airshow 2025. The reveal underscores the company’s steady rise as a regional innovator in advanced pilot-training systems.
A New Standard in Mixed-Reality Training
The AeroMix Multi-Crew is a dual-seat mixed-reality simulator that pairs Varjo XR-4 headsets with a six-degree-of-freedom motion platform and force-feedback controls. Together, they reproduce the cues, workload, and feel of real-world flying.
Built on recorded aircraft performance data and carefully tuned motion algorithms, the system captures aerodynamic response, powerplant behavior, and control feedback with striking accuracy. Pilots train inside a cockpit that reacts and feels like the aircraft itself — every vibration, pitch, and trim movement carried through to the seat and controls.
Initially tailored for basic trainer aircraft, the AeroMix architecture can be adapted for more complex platforms at the operator’s request, making it equally suited to elementary flight instruction or advanced mission preparation.
Training Capability and Features
- Full flight sequences — from start-up and taxi to approach and landing.
- Normal, abnormal, and emergency checklists, including system-failure handling.
- Realistic aerodynamic behavior such as stalls, spins, and flap- or trim-induced changes.
- IFR training with complete instrument and navigation simulation.
- Instructor tools for live weather changes, fault insertion, and recorded performance review.
- Dual-crew exercises that strengthen CRM and situational awareness.
These functions position AeroMix between procedural trainers and full-flight simulators — offering comparable fidelity without the infrastructure and operating cost of a large-scale device.

Applications
- Military academies and air forces are conducting tactical or emergency drills.
- Civil ATOs and flight schools delivering ab-initio, instrument, or MCC training.
- Universities and research institutes exploring aerodynamics or human-factors studies.
- Government and private operators seeking affordable, high-realism simulation for proficiency or recurrent programs.
Engineered Regionally, Built for the World
Conceived and developed entirely by FSDC’s in-house engineering team, AeroMix demonstrates how regional expertise can meet world-class simulation standards. Several FSDC devices are already in service with the Pakistan Aviation Institute of Simulator Training (PAIST) and other training units, collectively logging thousands of flight hours.
By combining local innovation with international partnerships, FSDC continues to advance cost-efficient, sustainable, and self-reliant training capabilities across the Middle East and South Asia.
Collaboration and Demonstration
The AeroMix Multi-Crew is presented in collaboration with Aviation MRO and powered by Varjo XR-4 technology. Visitors can experience the system’s motion, control loading, and mixed-reality immersion firsthand at Stand 1620 during Dubai Airshow 2025.
“We aim to give training organizations the realism of a full-flight simulator without the prohibitive cost,” said Scoamail Ahmed, Chief Technology Officer of FSDC AeroSolutions. “With AeroMix, we’ve merged proven engineering with accessibility — allowing nations to train effectively and independently.”
