Armed Drones used to drop bombs on Indian Air Base in Jammu, first of its kind attack in India

Today at about 01 30, Indian Air Force base at Jammu in Indian Occupied Kashmir was attack by armed Drones. According to media reports, attack was conducted by Kashmiri freedom fighters.

Indian Air Force issues a short press release, in which they said that

Two low intensity explosions were reported early Sunday morning in the technical area of Jammu Air Force Station. One caused minor damage to the roof of a building while the other exploded in an open area. There was no damage to any equipment. Investigation is in progress along with civil agencies.

This is a major intelligence and security failure of Indian Intelligence agencies and Indian Air Force.

Quad-copter being used attack

Indian agencies confirmed that drones used in this attack are completely indian origin. Both drones are quad-copters used for photography and reconnaissance. Reportedly, one drone throw bombs near a helicopter hanger where Mi-17 transport helicopter of Indian Air Force is parked.
