The 75-year-old, who has already served in the position four times. According to parliament speaker Agni Sapkota, Deuba received 165 votes, above the needed 136, with 83 votes against him.
Meanwhile, Pakistan’s Pm Imran Khan felicitates Nepali Pm Sher Bahadur Deuba on winning vote of confidence in parliament. PM KHAN vows to further strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries.
Afghanistan Peace talks
On Sunday, the Afghan government and Taliban delegations issued a joint statement stating that they will meet again and that they have given orders to speed up their peace talks. “The two parties promised to continue conversations at a high level until a settlement is found,” stated the two delegations of negotiators, who have been in Doha since Saturday. Meanwhile, both sides are engaged in fights across the country.

On Sunday, Israeli police and Palestinians clashed at Al Aqsa mosque over Jewish visitors to the compound, which is revered in Judaism as the location of two destroyed Biblical temples. There were no major injuries recorded in what police described as early-day stone-throwing by several Palestinian youths, who were eventually dispersed. Meanwhile, Israeli forces entered the Al-Aqsa mosque and violated the sanctity of the mosque. Pakistan strongly condemned the illegal action of occupying forces.
