Türkiye’s defense technology company ASELSAN has signed a USD 410 million Electronic Warfare export contract with the Poland State Treasury – Armament Agency, marking one of the most strategically significant defense agreements between a NATO ally and a leading Turkish defense manufacturer.
The contract covers the direct sale of advanced Electronic Warfare Systems, selected through a competitive tender process in which ASELSAN emerged ahead of major international defense suppliers. The agreement strengthens Poland’s military modernization programme and reinforces Türkiye’s growing position in the European and NATO defense ecosystem.

During the signing ceremony, Polish Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz emphasised the strategic depth of the agreement and highlighted continued Polish-Turkish defence engagement.
He noted Türkiye’s industrial transformation over the past two decades, describing the country’s progress from heavy defence import reliance to near self-sufficiency as a major achievement. He also pointed to Türkiye’s rapid advancement in high-technology defence sectors, including electronic warfare and aerospace.
