ASELSAN Unveils Advanced Air Superiority Solutions at IDEF 2025

Türkiye’s leading defense technology provider, ASELSAN, has unveiled a new generation of smart air superiority solutions at the International Defense Industry Fair (IDEF) 2025. These cutting-edge systems, including the ASELFLIR 600 electro-optical targeting system and the T-LINK National Tactical Data Link family, are designed to boost precision, connectivity, and operational dominance across modern aerial warfare environments.

With a growing emphasis on network-centric warfare and unmanned platforms, ASELSAN’s new portfolio aims to deliver next-generation capabilities for both manned and unmanned systems.

ASELFLIR 600: Precision Targeting for HALE UAVs

At the forefront of ASELSAN’s innovations is the ASELFLIR 600, an advanced electro-optical surveillance and targeting system tailored for High-Altitude Long-Endurance (HALE) UAVs. Building on the legacy of the ASELFLIR 500, the new system features a larger 25-inch gimbal, expanded aperture, and multispectral optics.

Equipped with AI-powered object recognition, HD multi-band sensors, and an extended-range laser suite, ASELFLIR 600 delivers exceptional Detection, Recognition, and Identification (DRI) performance under adverse conditions — offering critical advantages for intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) missions.

T-LINK Tactical Data Link Family: Securing the Sky with Connectivity

ASELSAN also introduced its T-LINK family of national tactical data links, comprising variants T-LINK A, C, M, and G. These secure, electronic warfare-resistant systems ensure encrypted data and voice communication across air, land, naval, and missile platforms.

Designed for real-time synchronization and situational awareness, the T-LINK systems enable robust interoperability across mobile and fixed nodes, empowering joint operations in highly contested environments.

Strategic Vision and Commitment to Innovation

Speaking at the launch, ASELSAN President and CEO Ahmet Akyol emphasized the strategic importance of these technologies:

“With the introduction of systems from our T-LINK family and ASELFLIR 600, we are redefining smart airpower with fully indigenous, future-ready solutions. These systems demonstrate ASELSAN’s ability to deliver synchronized connectivity and superior sensing, which are two decisive factors in modern air superiority.”

He further reiterated ASELSAN’s commitment to its 2030 vision of becoming one of the world’s top 30 defense companies.
