ASELSAN Unveils KORAL 200 Electronic Warfare System at IDEF 2025: A New Benchmark in Electronic Warfare Systems

ASELSAN Unveils KORAL 200 Electronic Warfare System at IDEF 2025

At IDEF 2025, ASELSAN has unveiled its latest advancement in electronic warfare: the KORAL 200 New Generation Mobile Radar Electronic Warfare System. As modern battlefields demand greater control over the electromagnetic spectrum, the KORAL 200 offers cutting-edge capabilities that combine Electronic Support (ES) and Electronic Attack (EA) into a highly mobile and modular platform.

With over five decades of experience in radar and electronic warfare technologies, ASELSAN has designed the KORAL 200 to respond to evolving radar threats in real time. The system supports NATO-standard interfaces, enabling seamless integration into joint and allied force structures, and is optimized for operations in contested airspaces.

Advanced Dual-Function Architecture

The KORAL 200’s core strength lies in its dual-functionality. It features:

  • Multi-receiver ES architecture for wide instantaneous bandwidth, precise direction finding, and high sensitivity—even in dense RF environments.

  • Digitally integrated EA subsystem with phased array antennas and high-output power for effective jamming and deception against advanced radar emitters.

The system’s mission control unit houses three NATO-compliant operator consoles and is built to withstand nuclear, biological, and chemical (NBC) threats.

Predictive Mission Planning and Post-Mission Analysis

ASELSAN has equipped the KORAL 200 with a Mission Planning Tool that allows for detailed configuration and threat modeling prior to deployment. A Mission Analysis Tool supports comprehensive post-operation reviews to refine electronic warfare strategies, ensuring continuous adaptation to battlefield dynamics.

Operational Flexibility and Coalition Readiness

Designed with flexibility in mind, KORAL 200 can function independently or as part of a multi-unit formation. Its modular design ensures rapid deployment and high mobility across various terrains. With position fixing capabilities and high circular error probability (CEP) precision, it enhances coalition interoperability in joint missions.

Shaping the Electromagnetic Battlespace

As radar threats grow more sophisticated, KORAL 200 empowers modern forces to dominate the invisible battlespace. From escorting strike missions to protecting mobile command assets, it plays a vital role in disrupting adversary radar targeting systems and enabling information superiority.
