“JSC Yakovlev and Aurora Airlines”, have signed a memorandum of understanding for the delivery of 10 MC-21 aircraft from 2027 to 2030. The agreement was signed at the Eastern Economic Forum 2023.
The document was signed by the Deputy General Director of United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) for Civil Aviation, the General Director of JSC Yakovlev, Andrey Boginsky, and the General Director of Aurora Airlines, Konstantin Sukhorebrik.
The agreement outlines the main terms of the deal, which will be reflected in the aircraft supply and leasing contracts in the future.

According to the signed document, the first two aircraft are planned to be delivered by the end of 2027. All aircraft will be delivered gradually by 2030.
“Today, improving the transportation accessibility of socially significant regions is one of the priority tasks for the aviation industry. As a leading manufacturer of civil airliners in Russia, Yakovlev is doing everything to address this issue, and signing the memorandum of understanding with Aurora Airlines is another important step in this direction. I am confident that with the help of the new domestic MC-21 aircraft, the airline will be able to maintain and increase passenger traffic in the Far East,” said Andrey Boginsky.
