EDGE, a global leader in advanced technology and defense, has unveiled five cutting-edge land platforms at the International Defence Exhibition and Conference (IDEX) 2025, held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) from February 17 to 21. These include three advanced variants of NIMR’s AJBAN MK2, MILREM’s HAVOC 8×8 Robotic Combat Vehicle (RCV), and AL JASOOR’s upgraded RABDAN 8×8 Recovery Vehicle.
Expanding Capabilities in Land Systems

NIMR’s Advanced AJBAN Variants
NIMR introduced three new multi-role armoured vehicle variants under the AJBAN MK2 series, designed for mission-specific adaptability. These variants include:
- AJBAN 452A – Accommodates up to eleven personnel, making it suitable for Armoured Personnel Carrier (APC), Observation, Ambulance, or Internal Security roles.
- AJBAN 432AU – A blast-protected logistics and utility vehicle with a three-crew capacity, specifically developed to support a mortar system.
- AJBAN 441AE – A robust five-crew platform optimized for logistics and mortar carrier operations with a modular internal layout.
These vehicles share a common platform, enhancing scalability and logistical efficiency while maintaining operational flexibility.
MILREM’s HAVOC 8×8: A Leap in Robotic Combat Vehicles
MILREM ROBOTICS, a majority-owned EDGE subsidiary, launched the HAVOC 8×8 Robotic Combat Vehicle (RCV), a game-changing hybrid unmanned ground vehicle (UGV). Designed for high-speed maneuverability and long-range force projection, HAVOC integrates advanced weaponry and operates near-silently with its hybrid-electric powertrain. Its lightweight design enhances off-road performance, providing optimal mobility in challenging environments.

AL JASOOR’s RABDAN Recovery Vehicle
AL JASOOR unveiled the upgraded RABDAN 8×8 Recovery Vehicle, a high-performance armoured recovery platform designed for rapid battlefield operations. Equipped with a 720 HP engine, hydraulic winch, dozer blade, and long-reach crane, it ensures efficient recovery and maintenance of heavy equipment under combat conditions. The vehicle’s independent suspension and all-axle steering further enhance its agility and operational stability.
IDEX visitors can explore EDGE’s latest defense technologies at Stand C20 in Hall 5 and Outdoor Stand CP-270 from February 17 to 21.
