HAVELSAN has signed a major new agreement with Boeing, marking a significant step forward in the company’s full flight simulator capability and expanding its role in the global aviation training market. Under the new arrangement, HAVELSAN will produce the B737 MAX-8 Full Flight Simulator using Boeing’s directly procured simulator data package, an upgrade that streamlines and enhances the entire development process.
Until now, HAVELSAN’s B737 MAX simulator projects relied on buyer-furnished data supplied by customers. With direct access to Boeing data, HAVELSAN will be able to manage simulator production end-to-end for future international customers, ensuring increased efficiency, stronger integration, and closer alignment with original equipment manufacturer (OEM) standards.
HAVELSAN stated that the cooperation reinforces its strategic vision to strengthen its global footprint in advanced aviation training and simulation technologies. The agreement also reflects the company’s growing ambition to become a key supplier in full flight simulator solutions for commercial aviation.
The Turkish defense and aerospace technology firm thanked Boeing for its collaboration and highlighted its intention to further expand the partnership through future platforms and training programmes. HAVELSAN said the deal will support the development of next-generation pilot training tools at a time of increasing demand for highly accurate, immersive flight simulation systems.
The new B737 MAX-8 simulator initiative is expected to enhance both HAVELSAN’s competitive strength and Boeing’s global training ecosystem—supporting operators as they prepare pilots for expanding fleets across international commercial markets.
