HAVELSAN’s ADVENT Combat Management System Enters Service with Indonesian Navy

HAVELSAN’s ADVENT Combat Management System has officially entered operational service with the Indonesian Navy, following successful integration aboard the KRI BELATI-622, a KCR-60 class fast attack craft built by PT TESCO Indomaritim.

The integration of HAVELSAN ADVENT and the FLEETSTAR Ship Data Distribution System represents a major milestone in Turkish naval exports and underlines Türkiye’s expanding presence in the Asia-Pacific defense market. Both systems successfully completed comprehensive sea acceptance trials and live-fire evaluations, confirming their reliability and interoperability under real-world conditions.

Advanced Command-and-Control for Network-Centric Operations

The KRI BELATI-622’s successful integration of ADVENT and FLEETSTAR reflects a step forward in Indonesia’s digital naval transformation. HAVELSAN engineers worked closely with the shipbuilder and the Indonesian Ministry of Defense to provide technical assistance, ensuring seamless configuration, testing, and crew training.

Developed by HAVELSAN to support network-centric warfare, ADVENT acts as the digital brain of modern naval fleets. It fuses sensor inputs, weapons control, communications, and tactical decision-support tools into a unified operational picture. Complementing this, FLEETSTAR functions as the digital backbone, distributing critical data across ship systems to enhance situational awareness, resilience, and mission readiness.

Officials from the Indonesian Ministry of Defense and PT TESCO Indomaritim commended the system’s modular design and robust digital architecture, emphasizing its contribution to Indonesia’s long-term naval modernization and interoperability with allied forces.

Strengthening Türkiye–Indonesia Strategic Cooperation

Speaking on the occasion, HAVELSAN CEO Dr. Mehmet Akif Nacar said the achievement demonstrates Türkiye’s capability to deliver world-class, interoperable naval command-and-control systems to international partners.

“This achievement reflects not only the technological excellence of HAVELSAN but also the strong strategic partnership we are building with Indonesia,” said Dr. Nacar. “The successful integration of ADVENT and FLEETSTAR shows Türkiye’s readiness to deliver advanced, network-centric naval solutions on a global scale.”

Dr. Nacar added that HAVELSAN plans to expand its cooperation with the Indonesian Navy through upcoming programs including the OPV-90, Merah Putih, and future KCR-60 / KCR-70 class vessels.
