India Tests Nag Mk 2 Anti-Tank Guided Missile

India has conducted field evaluation trials of the Nag Mk 2, a third-generation anti-tank guided missile. The trials took place at the Pokhran field firing range in Rajasthan, in the presence of senior Indian Army officials, the Ministry of Defence confirmed.

The Nag Mk 2 is a fire-and-forget missile system designed to target and neutralize heavily armored vehicles, including those equipped with explosive reactive armor (ERA). The missile incorporates advanced seeker technology and delivers high precision, offering enhanced capabilities for modern battlefield scenarios.

The Nag Missile Carrier version-2 was also field evaluated. With this, the entire weapon system is now ready for induction into the Indian Army.
