South Korea’s leading defense company, LIG Nex1, showcased a wide range of cutting-edge weapon systems and battlefield technologies at the Iraq Defense Exhibition (IQDEX) 2025, reinforcing its growing influence in global defense markets. The LIG Nex1 IQDEX 2025 participation reflects the company’s commitment to advancing integrated combat solutions and expanding strategic partnerships in the Middle East and beyond.
Among the key systems on display was the Raybolt Anti-Tank Guided Missile (ATGM)—a third-generation, fire-and-forget weapon designed for precision strikes against armored targets. LIG Nex1 also presented the Chiron Portable Surface-to-Air Missile (SAM) system, known for its lightweight design and reliability in short-range air defense operations.
Other notable systems included the L-SAM (Long-range Surface-to-Air Missile) designed to intercept high-altitude aerial threats, a Weapon Locating Radar system for counter-battery operations, and a GPS-guided kit for precision air-to-surface munitions—each representing South Korea’s innovation in defense electronics and missile technologies.
During the exhibition, senior LIG Nex1 representatives engaged with military officials and procurement delegations from across the region, discussing potential cooperation in technology transfer, local production, and joint ventures.
