EDGE Group and Fincantieri, global leaders in advanced technology and shipbuilding, have announced that their Abu Dhabi-based joint venture, MAESTRAL, will be awarded a major In-Service Support Strategic Partnership Project by Tawazun Council. The agreement, valued at approximately €500 million over five years, will involve comprehensive maintenance management for the UAE Navy fleet, enhancing operational performance.
This strategic partnership, which includes collaboration with Fincantieri’s naval vessels division and EDGE’s Abu Dhabi Shipbuilding, will provide cutting-edge technology and lifecycle maintenance services, reinforcing the UAE Navy’s transformation. The contract reflects the growing trust in MAESTRAL’s advanced capabilities and marks a significant milestone in fostering industrial partnerships in the region.
