Meteksan Defence Unveils SUVDES: A Game-Changer in Underwater Threat Detection at IDEF 2025

Meteksan Defence, a pioneer in underwater acoustics and maritime security, has officially unveiled its latest innovation, the SUVDES Submarine and Underwater Vehicle Detection System, at IDEF 2025. This cutting-edge system marks a significant step forward in Türkiye’s efforts to bolster underwater security capabilities.

Positioned as a comprehensive solution for critical maritime infrastructure, SUVDES is engineered to detect and classify a wide range of underwater threats including submarines, ROVs, AUVs, UUVs, and diver delivery vehicles. The system is specifically designed to secure harbor entrances, naval bases, offshore platforms, and strategic straits.

What sets SUVDES apart is its AI-powered detection and classification algorithms, enabling real-time threat identification and seamless integration with existing surveillance systems such as WAIS/AIS, radar, cameras, and night vision equipment. Its modular and scalable architecture allows easy customization and deployment across diverse operational environments.

“With years of experience in underwater acoustics, Meteksan Defence developed SUVDES to safeguard Türkiye’s most critical assets,” said Adil BAKTIR, President of Meteksan Defence. “This system provides early warning and advanced situational awareness, playing a pivotal role in underwater threat detection.”

SUVDES embodies Türkiye’s vision of becoming a global center of excellence in underwater defense technology and reinforces Meteksan’s commitment to delivering next-generation maritime security solutions.

Visitors can experience SUVDES at Hall 2, Booth 2-B03 at IDEF 2025.
