Novaspace, a global consulting and market-intelligence firm focused on the space industry, has opened a new office in India as part of its strategy to expand its presence in major international space markets. The company announced the decision on November 18, 2025, describing the move as part of its long-standing engagement with governments, agencies, and private-sector clients around the world.
According to the announcement, Novaspace views India as one of the most rapidly developing space ecosystems globally, driven by policy reforms, increased private-sector participation, and a shift toward commercially oriented applications. The company referenced India’s medium- to long-term space strategy, which outlines growth plans centered around public–private collaboration and expanded technological capabilities.
The India office will be led by Surbhi Patni Dalmia, who will serve as Director and Country Head. Her responsibilities include strengthening ties with start-ups, established industry players, government bodies, and academic institutions. Novaspace stated that having a local leadership team will enhance its ability to deliver customized consulting, market intelligence, and technology advisory services.
The expansion comes at a time when the global space sector is experiencing rapid shifts driven by satellite constellations, defense modernization, and increasing demand for data-driven applications. Novaspace aims for its India presence to support cross-border partnerships, technology exchange, and long-term sectoral growth through strategic guidance and data-led insights.
The India office will operate alongside Novaspace’s network of locations across Europe, North America, and Asia-Pacific, enabling the firm to broaden its reach and offer more region-specific support to clients engaged in space programs, industrial development, and international cooperation.
