NRTC and Blue Surge Unveil Advanced Long-Range Air Surveillance Radar with 350 km Detection Range and Cutting-Edge Anti-Jamming Technology
Pakistan’s National Radio and Telecommunication Corporation (NRTC) and Blue Surge Private Ltd have developed a long-range Air Surveillance Radar, that delivers extensive coverage with a detection range of up to 350 km, ensuring reliable tracking for various targets including fighter aircraft and drones. Its 360° field of view and flexible elevation range provide comprehensive monitoring at altitudes above 60,000 feet, refreshing every 10 seconds for real-time responsiveness. Designed with advanced power and antenna capabilities, this radar operates on the S-Band frequency to perform well in any mission-critical environment. Equipped with AESA, Digital Beamforming, GaN TRM technology, and Advanced Signal Processing, the system provides precise tracking, jammer resistance, and continuous upgrades. Anti-jamming capabilities include frequency hopping, vectorized control, and sidelobe suppression, ensuring resilience in challenging environments.
