CONDOR Non-Lethal Technologies (ONDOR), a leading Brazilian defense manufacturer and part of the UAE’s EDGE Group, has signed a landmark agreement with the Bahia Military Police for the supply of its newly developed 10 mm pistols. This marks the company’s first-ever contract with a Military Police force for the pistol and represents a major step in its mission to expand its domestic footprint while advancing responsible law enforcement practices.

Expanding Domestic Security Capabilities

The contract, initially valued at R$ 5 million, could reach R$ 10 million through future acquisitions. This partnership highlights the growing trust of Brazil’s state security forces in homegrown defense innovation and cements ONDOR’s role as a key supplier of advanced security solutions.

By introducing the 10 mm pistol, the Bahia Military Police is aligning with a global law enforcement trend that emphasizes proportionate use of force, accountability, and superior operational performance.

Advanced 10 mm Pistol Technology

ONDOR’s 10 mm pistol was developed with a focus on precision, ergonomics, reliability, and adaptability, making it suitable for both urban security operations and high-risk missions. The weapon integrates cutting-edge technology to meet the evolving demands of modern policing.

This initiative is also aligned with the broader EDGE Group strategy to position Brazil as a hub for defense and security technology, with an emphasis on skills development, local innovation, and job creation.
