The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) has undertaken targeted air strikes on two separate locations within Afghanistan, responding to imminent threats posed by hostile elements. In a decisive operation aimed at safeguarding national security interests, PAF fighter jets successfully neutralized identified militant hideouts, located near the border regions. These strikes demonstrate Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to counter-terrorism efforts and ensure regional stability.
“Over the past two years, Pakistan has repeatedly conveyed its serious concerns to the Interim Afghan Government over the presence of terror outfits including TTP inside Afghanistan. These terrorists pose a grave threat to Pakistan’s security and have consistently used Afghan territory to launch terror attacks inside Pakistani territory”, the Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
