The upgrade ensures that Poland’s F-16s remain a potent element of NATO’s collective defense strategy, boosting regional security amid evolving threats.

Polish Industry Involvement

Lockheed Martin will work closely with Wojskowe Zaklady Lotnicze No. 2 (WZL-2) to carry out the modernization in Poland, leveraging local expertise and facilities. The collaboration will also expand workforce development and strengthen the country’s defense industrial base.
