With only a few days to go, Rosoboronexport, a subsidiary of Rostec State Corporation, is finalizing preparations for a grand exhibition at IDEX 2025, scheduled to take place from February 17 to 21 in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The showcase promises to be one of the most comprehensive displays of Russian defense technology in recent years.
Spanning almost 1,000 square meters in Pavilion 10 of the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC), the exhibit will feature cutting-edge systems designed and refined for modern, high-intensity conflicts. Over 40 prominent Russian defense manufacturers will participate, offering solutions tailored to meet the evolving needs of global security.
A Comprehensive Approach to Modern Combat
Rosoboronexport will highlight several groundbreaking innovations, including:
- T-90MS Main Battle Tank (MBT): Touted as one of the world’s most advanced MBTs, the T-90MS incorporates lessons from recent combat operations. It features upgraded armor, advanced fire control systems, and new ammunition for enhanced firepower and survivability against threats such as UAVs and ATGMs.
- Pantsir-SMD-E SAM System: Designed to counter UAVs and aerial threats, this very-short-range air defense system boasts new, cost-effective missiles and improved versatility, making it ideal for protecting critical infrastructure.
- Kornet-EM ATGM System: Equipped with new Bulat missiles and a remote-control system, the Kornet-EM ensures superior operator safety and exceptional anti-armor performance.
- KUB-2-1E and KUB-2-2-2E Loitering Munitions: Presented for the first time, these next-generation systems are designed for reconnaissance and precision strikes in modern warfare.
The exhibit underscores Russia’s comprehensive approach to defense innovation, reflecting battlefield realities to develop solutions that meet the demands of modern high-intensity conflicts.

Beyond the exhibition, Rosoboronexport will conduct meetings with delegations from the Middle East and other regions to discuss partnerships and technology transfers.
