Rosoboronexport, Russia’s arms export agency, will showcase the latest Russian defence and security technologies at the Vietnam Defence Expo 2024.

For the very first time abroad, Rosoboronexport will exhibit full-size models of the Typhoon-K MRAP vehicle equipped with the Kornet-EM anti-tank guided missile system, the BMP-3 infantry fighting vehicle featuring upgraded armor, and the Rubezh-ME coastal defense missile system. These systems have been enhanced based on experience in modern warfare and are well-suited for integration into the Vietnam People’s Army.
Additionally, the Lancet-E loitering munition system will make its Southeast Asian debut alongside reconnaissance drones like the Orlan-10-E and Orlan-30 and the Kub-E loitering munition. Previously, Rosoboronexport showcased the Lancet-E loitering munition at the ADEX 2024, held in Azerbaijan.
Strengthening Russia-Vietnam Military-Technical Cooperation
Alexander Mikheev, Director General of Rosoboronexport, emphasized Russia’s commitment to strengthening military-technical cooperation with Vietnam, calling it a key element of the two nations’ strategic partnership. He stated that the showcased products have proven their effectiveness in high-intensity combat scenarios and meet the modern needs of defense forces.
