Tallinn to Host Inaugural Supply, Security & Defence Expo 2025 with Focus on Baltic Sea Resilience

Tallinn is set to host the inaugural Supply, Security & Defence Expo 2025 from May 14 to 16 at Bekker Port, marking a major regional initiative to strengthen collaboration on supply security, internal security, and defence among Baltic Sea countries. Supported by the Estonian government and the Polish EU Presidency, the event is expected to serve as a strategic platform for dialogue, innovation, and resilience-building.

Organized by Exponaut, the expo will feature over 70 companies from Estonia and abroad, including global names such as Samsung, Scania, Nortal, and international defense firms like DSI Solutions (Israel), INKAS (Canada), and ISOTEX (Italy). Esteemed associations like the Polish Defence Industry Association, Nordic Defence & Security Cluster (NORDSEC), and the Lithuanian Defence Industry Association will also take part.

Madis Laas, CEO of Exponaut, emphasized the event’s significance in the current geopolitical context: “We have created a platform that enables leaders and companies from the Baltic Sea region to align efforts and build joint capabilities in response to shared challenges.”

A key highlight of the expo will be the three-day international conference titled “Uniting Baltic Sea Coastal States for Enhanced Defence and Resilience,” addressing land, air, and sea dimensions of regional security. The conference will feature remarks from high-level Estonian ministers and industry representatives, including the Vice President of Nammo AS, Rheinmetall’s German division, and a cybersecurity expert from Samsung UK.

Jaanus Tamm, CEO of Estonian defense tech firm DefSecIntel Solutions, noted: “Given the growing threats and the lessons learned from Ukraine, we are showcasing our smart surveillance systems, drone countermeasures, and unmanned ships to support critical infrastructure and border security in the region.”

The expo venue will operate under restricted access, with entry limited to pre-registered and invited participants, reflecting the sensitive nature of the discussions and technologies on display.
