The UAE Space Agency has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Economic Development Board—Office for Space Technology & Industry to enhance collaboration in space science and technology. This strategic agreement underscores the UAE’s commitment to advancing space research and fostering space activities for peaceful purposes.
The MoU focuses on key areas such as space communications, navigation systems, and Earth observation. Additionally, it aims to expand the utilization of space data to support critical applications, including climate change monitoring, disaster management and emergency response, food security enhancement, and agricultural development.
