VITEC, a global leader in Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) video streaming technologies, is set to make its regional debut at DSEI Japan 2025, held from 21–23 May. Marking its first defense trade show appearance in the region, VITEC will unveil its latest innovations in ISR streaming and video content management, reinforcing its commitment to high-performance, secure video transmission solutions tailored for military and defense environments.
Exhibiting at booth H5-452, VITEC will spotlight its robust TOUGH encoder family, including the MGW Diamond-H, a cutting-edge 4K and dual-channel SD/HD HDMI encoder, and the EZ TV ISR system—an agile video content management solution built for rapid field deployment.
“We’ve been closely tracking the growth of DSEI Japan and the broader Indo-Pacific market. This is a pivotal time for VITEC to introduce our ISR solutions in the region,” said Jamie Hind, APAC Regional Director at VITEC. “Our technologies are engineered for extreme conditions and deliver dependable, secure video streams essential for tactical decision-making.”
Technology Highlights at DSEI Japan 2025
• MGW Diamond-H
A compact, field-ready encoder capable of streaming ISR video feeds over RF or satellite links, enabling real-time situational awareness. It supports screen sharing and advanced stream protection protocols including Zixi™, SRT, RIST, and Pro-MPEG, ensuring secure and resilient video transmission. Power over Ethernet (PoE) capability enables efficient deployment with reduced cabling requirements.
• MGW Pico+ TOUGH
This lightweight (under 400g), energy-efficient encoder is optimized for manned and unmanned platforms across air, land, and sea. It features timestamp overlays, adaptive bitrate control, and a ruggedized enclosure certified for airborne and marine operations.
• MGW Diamond TOUGH
A quad-channel encoder supporting HEVC (H.265) and H.264 video compression with HDR capability. Designed for ISR operations in ground vehicles, it offers ultra-low latency streaming both internally and to command centers, while reducing bandwidth consumption by up to 50%.
• EZ TV ISR
A fully integrated tactical IPTV system that allows users to ingest, manage, index, archive, and distribute both live and recorded video with embedded metadata. Its secure architecture meets modern cybersecurity and information assurance standards, enhancing operational efficiency.
With a portfolio tailored for mission-critical deployments, VITEC’s presence at DSEI Japan 2025 underscores its expanding global footprint and technological leadership in secure ISR video solutions.
