On the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha, Turkish leading drone-manufacturing firm, “Baykar” unveiled the conceptual design of an unmanned fighter aircraft which is named “MIUS”.
The prototype of this aircraft is scheduled to fly in 2023. According to initial reports, this aircraft will be able to fly near the speed of sound and further models will have supersonic speed capability.

According to images released by “Baykar”, MIUS will be able to take off and land on LHD Anadolu. The payload capacity is about 1500-2000 kilograms. It will carry air-to-air missiles as well as cruise missiles.
“MIUS will be the first step of the unmanned fighter of the Turkish nation. It will feature the most advanced artificial intelligence parameters”, Selcuk Bayraktar said.
TCG Anadolu is capable of operating 30-50 UAVs from its deck expected to enter into service in late 2022 or early 2023.
