The Pakistan Daily and Global Defense Insight have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the promotion of Pakistan’s defense exports.
Global Defense Insight is a leading publication focusing on defense and security matters whilst The Pakistan Daily is a digital news outlet focusing primarily on politics.
Both outlets have now formalized their cooperation to promote Pakistani defense solutions and systems in global markets.
The MoU was signed at the National Incubation Center for Aerospace with Global Defense Insight being represented by Umair Aslam and The Pakistan Daily being represented by Hamza Azhar Salam.
Umair Aslam, who serves as the CEO of Global Defense Insight said: “We are excited to expand our partnership with The Pakistan Daily. Our team hopes to widen our audience and capitalize on Pakistan Daily’s reach at home and abroad including Azerbaijan.”
Hamza Azhar Salam, the Editor of The Pakistan Daily said: “I’m grateful for the opportunity to grow with Mr Umair Aslam and his team which is redefining how defense and security-related news is disseminated. We look forward to cooperating with Global Defense Insight and ensuring that Pakistani armaments given their cost effectiveness and efficiency are promoted across the world.”
Both outlets have agreed to cross-post and share content mutually as well as partner in events that further their joint goals.
The Pakistan Daily and Global Defense have also agreed to support each other’s efforts on social media, particularly on Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), and Linkedin.
Commenting on the occasion, Raja Furqan Ahmed who serves as the News Editor of The Pakistan Daily said: “We have witnessed that Pakistan’s defense ecosystem needs to become more media savvy and become comparative to the international ecosystem. The Pakistan Daily and Global Defense Insight have now joined hands to bridge this gap”.
